Neuigkeiten aus dem italienischen San Remo: 60 Überlebende gibt es nach Tag 3 der EPT, 165 sind mittags noch hoffnungsvoll gestartet. Es dauerte nur wenige Stunden und es stand fest, dass Roberto Spada mit 1,44 Millionen neuer Chipleader ist.
Ihm dicht auf den Fersen sind Nicolas Yunis mit 1,41 Millionen und der spielstarke Russe Max Lykov ebenfalls mit 1,41 Millionen.
Der Deutsche Max Heinzelmann ist leider von Platz 11 des Counts auf Platz 21 abgerutscht, mit ein bisschen Rückenwind ist aber beim EPT-Berlin-Zweiten noch alles drin.
Kurz vor Ende des Tages konnte Max sich nochmal entscheidend verbessern, auf einem Board mit K 2 2 9 9 und Q 9 auf der Hand setzte Max 107.000 und sein Gegner callte. Im Endeffekt war das geriverte Full House von Max die beste Hand und er kassierte den riesigen Pot.
Stefan Huber aus der Schweiz ist auf 154.000 runter, besser sieht es da für Rainer Emde aus Deutschland mit 365.000 Chips aus. Thomas Traboulsi hatte dagegen Pech: mit Pocket-Aces ging er all-in, sein Gegner hatte Ace-King. Es kam, wie es im Poker eben oft kommen muss und der Gegner bastelte sich noch die Straße. Thomas schied so auf Rang 65 mit 13.000 Euro aus.
Die Rolle des unglücklichen Bubble-Boy fiel diesmal Nicolas Chouty zu. Der EPT-Grand-Final-Champion stellte mit Pocket-Tens all-in und verlor gegen Pocket-Damen. Ebenfalls aus und vorbei ist die EPT San Remo für Vanessa Selbst, den früheren Chipleader Ruben Visser, Roberto Romanello und John Eames.
