Gestern wurde in London Tag 3 der EPT absolviert und es hätte für die Deutschen schlechter nicht laufen können. Keiner von ihnen befindet sich unter den 24 Überlebenden, die am Ende des Tages Chips eintüteten. Insgesamt waren 124 Spieler hoffnungsvoll in den Tag gegangen.
Chipleader ist momentan Chance Kornuth aus England mit 2,3 Millionen Chips, gefolgt von Per Ummer aus Zypern mit 1,76 Millionen Chips.
Full Tilt-Pro John Juanda liegt mit 1,2 Millionen auf Platz zehn des Counts, WSOP-Champ Joe Hachem belegt mit 855.000 Chips Platz 15.
Den “Turniertod” starb an diesem dritten Tag unter anderem Benny Spindler, der als Vierter im Count in den Tag gegangen war. In einer wichtigen Hand verlor er mit K J gegen 10 6 eine Menge Chips und verdoppelte einen all-in gegangenen Spieler. Auf dem Board kamen vier Herz – ziemlich brutal. Kurz darauf erwischte es ihn vollständig und er entschwand zum Highroller-Event.
Vorher wurde auch Konstantin “BongBob” Bücherl an die Rails befördert. Er pushte mit K Q und fand leider einen Caller, der A Q hielt. Ein Ass auf dem Flop beendete alle Hoffnung für den Regensburger.
